This group project focused on creating a compelling commercial video for JVA, aimed at recruiting new talent and sparking interest in the correctional services field. Designed to function both as a recruitment tool and an image film, the video highlights the value and variety of work within the institution. It was produced for wide distribution—shown as a cinema pre-roll and as a targeted YouTube ad campaign.
What made this project special was the full creative process our small team of five took on—from scriptwriting and storyboarding to filming, editing, and post-production—all completed within just two weeks. We had the rare opportunity to tour the prison and even film on-site, giving the project an authentic and grounded feel. Collaborating with people whose mission is to offer hope and second chances deeply shaped our narrative approach. This message became the heart of the video: breaking stereotypes and highlighting the human side of correctional work.
