Bold typography was chosen to convey emotional clarity and confidence, which is especially important when dealing with complex feelings. Large, strong typefaces create immediate visual impact, making key messages feel assertive and unambiguous. The typography also acts as a visual anchor throughout the site, grounding the user in each section’s theme. By combining expressive fonts with thoughtful layout, the text becomes not just readable, but felt.
The messy line art mirrors the complexity of emotions — tangled, unclear, and sometimes hard to express. More than decoration, these abstract graphics act as emotional cues, helping especially young audiences connect text with feeling and making the experience more relatable and human.
Looking back, this project was a great opportunity to explore how brand strategies and design choices can deeply influence a user's emotions. It was exciting to merge scientific insights and emotional storytelling into a visual experience—without relying on images. Experimenting with bold typography and layout taught me how powerful type alone can be in shaping tone and engagement.
